Privacy Policy

Your privacy is fundamental to how ImageInPixel operates. This policy outlines our commitment to protecting your data.

Last Updated: June 3, 2025

1. Our Core Privacy Principle: In-Browser Processing

ImageInPixel is meticulously designed with your privacy as its foremost priority. All image processing, editing, and manipulation tasks performed using our suite of tools occur directly within your web browser on your own device. We do not upload, store, or transmit your image files to our servers or any third-party servers at any point during your use of the core editing functionalities.

This client-side processing model means your original images and the edited versions remain exclusively under your control and on your local system unless you explicitly choose to save or share them elsewhere.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

  • Your Images: As stated above, your image files are not uploaded to our servers.
  • Personal Information from Images: We do not access, process, or store any personal information or metadata that may be embedded within your image files.
  • Account Information: ImageInPixel currently operates without user accounts, so we do not collect names, email addresses, or passwords associated with user profiles.

3. Information We May Collect (Non-Personally Identifiable)

To improve our Service and understand user engagement, we may collect anonymous, aggregated, non-personally identifiable information (NPII). This may include:

  • Usage Analytics: General usage patterns, such as features utilized, frequency of use, session duration, and browser/device types. This data is anonymized and cannot be linked back to an individual user or specific images.
  • Error Reporting: Anonymized error logs or crash reports if the application encounters an issue, to help us diagnose and fix problems. This information does not include any part of your image data.

Any NPII collected is used solely for internal purposes, such as enhancing website functionality, improving user experience, and ensuring the stability of our tools.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

ImageInPixel may use browser cookies or local storage for essential functionalities, such as:

  • Preferences: Storing your preferences (e.g., theme settings, last used tool settings) to enhance your experience on subsequent visits.
  • Application State: Maintaining the state of your current editing session locally if you navigate away and return (though images themselves are not persistently stored by us).

These technologies are used to improve your interaction with the Service and do not track your activity across other websites. You can typically manage or disable cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect the functionality of some features.

5. Third-Party Services

We minimize the use of third-party services. If we do use any (e.g., for analytics like a privacy-focused alternative to Google Analytics, or for displaying advertisements if we choose to monetize in that way in the future), we will select services that align with our privacy principles. This policy will be updated to reflect any such integrations. We do not currently share NPII with third-party advertisers.

6. Data Security

While your images remain on your device, we take reasonable measures to protect any NPII we collect (such as anonymized analytics data) from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no internet-based service can be 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

ImageInPixel is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in relevant jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
